Students in grades 8-11 may apply and audition for admission to the Fine Arts Center. There is no cost to apply. Applications are open October – January, with auditions held in late February and early March for the following school year. We seek students with strong interest, dedication, and the drive to reach their full potential.
To receive an audition, students must be in good standing at their current school – completing assignments, showing consistent effort, and maintaining a clean discipline record. Academic and discipline records are reviewed to ensure success in the rigorous, independent environment of the FAC. We expect applicants to be prepared and on time for their audition.
Charter, homeschool, private, and virtual school students are welcome to apply, with the following considerations:
Visit our application page here – FAC Acceptd page. Choose a program from the “Start an Application” menu on the left side of the page, just under the FAC logo. Students may apply to up to three programs. Not sure which is the best fit? Explore our website for program details, videos, and additional resources.
You will need to create an account with Acceptd. Please note: Students under sixteen (16) require a parent to create an associated account. Here is a guide to creating Parent accounts. When creating your Acceptd account, make sure you use an email address that you access frequently.
Greenville County School District students may attend the Fine Arts Center for free. Some of our studios have a class fee requirement that is used to pay for student supplies. We also offer bus transportation from every high school in the district. The Fine Arts Center Partners provide financial support for Pupils in Poverty, covering class and field trip fees.
