How To Apply

SUBMIT AN APPLICATION

STEP 1 - Visit program websites, watch intro video, review auditions timeline & requirements

Visit the website of the program or programs that you are interested in (see list below).  Watch the introductory video and carefully go over the audition timeline and requirements. You may audition for more than one program (three programs, maximum) but will need to choose only one program if you receive multiple offers.  Sign up for the Audition/Portfolio workshop if you would like to learn more about the audition process.  Click here for more info.

Parents – do not do the application for your child. This process needs to be done by them so that they have ownership with the process. If they have questions, encourage them to self-advocate and contact the appropriate person for answers.

  1. Select the program you want to apply to from the “Start an Application” dropdown menu just below the FAC logo on the left side of the web page.
  2. When creating your Acceptd account, make sure you use an email address that you access frequently. Please note: Students under sixteen (16) require a parent to create an associated account.  Here is a guide to creating Parent accounts.

  3. Follow the directions – make sure you complete all questions and click SUBMIT.

  4. Prepare for your audition. You will be notified between January 15 and 28 if you are being offered an audition.

STEP 3 - Follow audition guidelines, check email, arrive on time, no extensions.

Carefully follow the audition requirements.  Does your program require a pre-screening?  What do you need to prepare for your audition?

  • Communication is essential – check your email regularly and follow the audition timeline.
  • If you decide not to audition after you have applied, please notify us.
  • Be on time for your scheduled audition.  Dress professionally.
  • No audition extensions or reauditions will be entertained.
